Next...
Phew! Well, after a week of e-mails back and forth with Kristi I finally figured out how to add a new post...let's hope next week's post isn't as challenging...hee hee! Things are going well. Our next doctor's appointment is on Thursday (7/2) and by the suggestion of Jaime we are going to have another ultrasound done...since the baby is "no longer a fetus" but rather a "small scale child" we are very excited to see our little one is resembling a human now and not just a little bean (or as Grandma Sarah calls him/her...a "sweet pea"). I'm still feeling well...just very tired...looking forward to my first day of summer vacation (Wednesday...woo hoo!) when I can revert back to my college days and start some daily afternoon naps...excellent! I also feel like I am always hungry! Grandma Jane commented on my big appetite this weekend which she hasn't been able to do in...well...29 or so years! Baby Sidney (along with Mom and Dad of course) did a lot of traveling this weekend...stayed with Aunt Megan Thursday night (my friend Beth's wedding rehearsal/rehearsal dinner was that night)...full day of wedding fun Friday...Saturday went to Herkimer for lunch...Saturday evening went to Marc's cousin Zach's graduation party in Canajoharie...and finally Saturday night to Sunday went with Uncle Jeff and Stacie to visit the fam at the Lake (Becca, Zach, my mom, and my grandma were all there :) ). Got in after 11:00 last night and after our whirlwind weekend I will again reiterate...can't wait 'til Wednesday!!! Will update more after our appointment Thursday...well...hopefully...if only Kristi lived closer!!

MommyJ's First Survey Posting!
A Little Quiz - I know that we are all dying for more details on the littlest Sidney addition - so hopefully Jen will be filling out a little survey for us weekly to help appease all the nosey Aunties and Uncles out there :)
How far along? tomorrow starts week 11 (and month 3!)
Total weight gain/loss: so far...minimal...we don't have a scale so i'm only weighed at the doctor's office.
Maternity Clothes: not yet...but i did pop the zipper on a pair of my dress pants last week so i'm sure it's coming :)
Stretch marks? none
Sleep: i've been sleeping well...drinking lots of water so i am up a few times a night but right back to sleep :)
Best moment this week: telling aunt kristi and uncle nik our good news via live messenger...now all of our wonderful family is "in the know"!
Movement: none yet
Food cravings: not really...though i did really want ice cream the past few days...not sure if that can count as a craving though...
Gender: we won't know until week 18-20 but aunt megan has a feeling it's a boy :)
Labor Signs: thankfully none.
Belly Button in or out? in
What I miss: being able to order off a menu without having to second guess my choices...marc and i went to a seafood restaurant saturday night and all i could remember that i could definitely have was salmon so...needless to say...i had salmon!
What I am looking forward to: meeting our little guy (or girl!)...it's so unbelievable that in 7 months he/she will be here!
Weekly Wisdom: don't sweat the small stuff...stress is not good for the baby...with 12 days left in the school year and my assistant out for 4 days it's easy to stress but marc is helping me relax!
Milestones: finding out today that our baby no longer has a tail (woo hoo!) and that it is no longer an embryo but rather a "small-scale baby"...so exciting!
Random Belly Touches: none yet...just marc and i so far...that might be weird the first time it happens!
Shout outs to new followers: no followers yet...hopefully soon to come!
Baby Brain Moment of the Week: (apparently you lose up to 5% of your brain capacity when you are pregnant – so it will be fun to see all the funny and wacky things you do) - my sisters know that i do not have the best memory anyway...they are usually my memory...so i really don't have 5% to loose...this should be interesting!

The Story...
Jen is currently 10 weeks and 2 days pregnant and since so many of her loved ones live in different cities, states, and even countries we thought it would be fun to document the excitement of pregnancy and all the ups and downs that go along with it. Stay tuned for more….
